Thrift stores can be overwhelming and disorganized, but that’s not us. At America’s Thrift Stores, we pride ourselves on our stores’ cleanliness and meticulous organization.
We have 44 women’s clothing categories, 30 men’s categories, and 41 kid’s categories, all sorted by size, making sure that it’s unbelievably easy to find that treasure you’re on the hunt for.
Looking for picture frames? We have a section for that. Workout equipment? A section for that too.

10,000+ Items Added Every Day
We refresh each of our stores with over 10,000 unique items every single day, which is where we got the tagline “Where it’s a new store every day.” That’s the equivalent of 14 items being added to the sales floor every minute!
Our employees are constantly rolling out new inventory to the floor so that it’s never picked over. Always fresh. Isn’t that exciting?!
Donations Benefit Make-A-Wish Alabama®
Every donation made to America’s Thrift Stores results in a contribution to Make-A-Wish Alabama, our local charity partner in Alabama. Make-A-Wish Alabama is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit that creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in Alabama.
We believe in the charity partners we serve, and we also strive to make an environmental impact in the communities we are a part of by keeping more than 45 million pounds of donatable goods out of landfills each year.
We would not be able to have the variety and selection we have if it wasn’t for the generous people who donate those goods to us! The next time you’re looking at your closet thinking, “I have WAY too much stuff,” consider donating to America’s Thrift Stores to make wishes come true for our kids in Alabama.
You can donate at your local America’s Thrift Store, drop off donations at a bin near you, or schedule a free home pick-up. We’ll be hosting a donation drive prior to our grand opening on October 20th and 21st at our new location. Hope to see you there!
