America’s Thrift Stores is coming to Opelika, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of your community! We expect to officially open our new location in Opelika on November 19th at the former Gander Mountain at 1640 Parker Way. To kick off our grand opening events, we will be having our very first donation drive in Opelika from October 22nd through October 25th!

Make-A-Wish Alabama is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit that creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in Alabama. By donating with America’s Thrift Stores, together, we can create even more life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish Alabama grants wishes in all 67 counties of the state and has granted more than 800 wishes since its inception as an independent 501c3 in September 2012. Headquartered in Birmingham and locally governed by a Board of Directors, Make-A-Wish Alabama is one of 60 federated chapters of the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of America, the world’s largest wish-granting organization. CONVENIENTLY DROP OFF DONATIONS
We know convenience is key when you donate. Simply drive up to our drive-up Store Donation Center near the front of the Opelika America’s Thrift Store! A donation attendant will grab your donated goods for you so you don’t even have to lift a finger.
WHAT TO DONATE
Generally, we accept gently used clothing, household items, and entertainment, such as books, vinyl records, and DVDs, as donations.
