How It Works

First, fill out our online form on the Bags for Bucks page of our website (under the “Fundraising” tab) with your organization’s information. Then, a representative will get in touch with you to discuss the next steps. 

If you participate in the program, you’ll get bags to distribute to your community—friends, family, coworkers, neighbors. They fill the bags with gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, books, and household goods.

As for where we come in: America’s Thrift will give you a flyer template so that you can promote your drive. We’ll work with you to schedule a pick-up date for your items. You will make $0.10 per pound of the items your community has collected.
