Experts say that mattresses need to be replaced every eight years. But, if you want to save a little dough, we are here to help!

America’s Thrift Stores offers both new and rebuilt mattress sets in all sizes (bunk, twin, full, queen and king). Since we do not accept donations of used mattresses, you never have to worry about purchasing a mattress which has been used by someone else from one of our stores. We order mattress sets from reputable companies like Allied National Mattress Co, Classic Mattress Co, Superior Sleep Solutions, D&J Bedding, San Pedro Manufacturing and Capitol Bedding. Having a hard time deciding between purchasing a new or rebuilt mattress set? Here is some information on each to help you make an informed decision.

Made in America, our NEW mattress sets come with a warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturing defects, so, you can bring it back to the store it was purchased from and receive a new set.  These sets are priced below retail and are an excellent value featuring high quality materials and workman ship. Our Jasper, Pell City, Huffman, Decatur and Double Springs stores are all carrying new mattress sets.

We also feature REBUILT mattress sets which contain both old and new material. Our reputable manufactures – Allied Mattress, San Pedro Mfg. and Classic Mattress Co – take apart closeout name brand mattresses, like Sealy, and strip them down to the springs. After inspecting the springs and replacing any damaged ones, they take the set of springs through a thorough disinfecting process. Once disinfected, they cover them using brand new foam and flame-retardant material. Once assembled, the mattresses are inspected to meet both state and federal guidelines before entering our stores. In addition, we inspect our manufactures periodically to make sure these mattress sets are up to our standards to sell in our stores. All of our stores carry rebuilt mattress sets.
